Cristina holds her Master’s of Physiotherapy Degree from McGill University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology, specializing in Fitness Assessments and Exercise Counseling from York University. She believes the key to a successful and sustainable recovery stems from a patient-centered care model and strives to inspire all her patients to become more active, healthy and happy.

Cristina has a special interest in treating patients of performing arts background, with previous experience treating circus performers at École Nationale De Cirque and touring shows of Montreal based companies; The 7 Fingers, and Cirque Eloize. Furthermore, she has both international and national experience treating athletes of various sport-related injuries in Europe and Canada. Currently, Cristina is a Sport Physiotherapy (Candidate) and works with Canada’s National Rhythmic Gymnastics team in Canada and overseas for international competitions.

Using a treatment philosophy that combines manual therapy, myofascial release techniques, and specific exercise prescription while drawing on her own experience with managing injuries, Cristina is able to provide comprehensive and holistic care for her patients. She is dedicated to her own professional development and currently holds certification in utilizing Medial Acupuncture from McMaster University.
