Carolina Rotondo

MPT, BSc, Cert. MDT Physiotherapist

Carolina graduated from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY with a Master of Physical Therapy degree in 2006. She also holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours Life Sciences) from the University of Toronto (2003). Carolina is a Toronto based physiotherapist with a strong interest in the dance and performing arts community and their very unique injuries. As Past President and current Board Member, of the organization, Healthy Dancer Canada, she plays an active role in the education and prevention of dance injuries in Canada. She is currently the Chair of the Healthy Dancer Canada’s Dancer Screening Committee developing standardized tools for screening dancers for injury prevention. Using both manual skills and specific exercises she enjoys helping patients with back and neck pain, neurological diseases overuse/repetitive injuries, sports injuries and headaches. Carolina is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), and is learning more manual skills through the Mulligan Concept. She has also acquired a certification in Acupuncture and Dry Needling (AND). Like the great Martha Graham, Carolina believes “Movement Never Lies???
