Our office lies at the heart of the Toronto Financial District, Toronto (downtown core). Considered to be the financial heart of Canada, the Toronto Financial District is home to the largest financial institutions operating in Canada as well as the Toronto Stock Exchange. It is also the place of bustling activity with an estimated 100,000 people entering and leaving the District each working day. Some parts of the District are currently under renovation/construction so it’s only a matter of time before the downtown Toronto has a new look!

The banks have had a presence in the district as early as the 19th century, but it was only in the 20th century that “the Big Five??? established themselves permanently (CIBC, TD, RBC, Scotia and Bank of Montreal). The Financial District is also host to diplomatic missions from Korea, Japan, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, France, and Taipei (Taiwan).

The most notable landmark is First Canadian Place which is the tallest building in Canada. Beneath the Financial District is the Path, which is the largest underground shopping mall (4 million square feet). Union Station is also close by (one of the busiest transport hubs in Canada) as well as the Rogers Centre. If you happen to work or do business in the Financial District, stop by and pay us a visit!
