We provide opportunities for fieldwork, and exposure to a wide variety of sport-related injury conditions.

Primary Care Sport Medicine Physician Wanted Part to Full Time – Toronto

We are currently seeking a primary care sport medicine physician to join our group of 4 sport medicine doctors and 1 orthopaedic surgeon. You hold the Diploma in Sport Medicine, or will be challenging the exam in future.

We offer excellent remuneration and a collegial environment with good long-term growth potential. Your practice will include a significant consultation component, with referrals from community family physicians.

You have an interest in academic sport medicine, as the position may entail if desired, some family medicine resident teaching, and may lead to application for Lecturer status at the University of Toronto, in the Faculty of Medicine. There are opportunities for event coverage and team physician work. You may also have an interest in performing arts medicine.

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of over 25, with full admin support, EMR and a beautiful 11th-floor view of the financial district of downtown Toronto from your office.

The position is open for the right physician to begin immediately. My current waiting list for new patients is approximately 6 weeks.

Physiatrist needed for Sports Medicine Consultations

Are you looking for a consultation position, seeing interesting sport medicine cases?

Athletic Edge Sports Medicine is a multidisciplinary sports medicine organization with 2 clinics in Toronto. Our flagship clinic is in the financial district, with a strong support base of over 300 family physicians within a 5km radius. Our waiting list for referred patients is currently over 6 weeks. Typical referrals include: rotator cuff tendinitis, meniscal and ligament injuries and post fracture management.

We do NOT see WSIB or MVA patients.

Our downtown clinic is fully EMR, and you will be supported by 4 administrative staff. and over 25allied health professionals in house. Our clinic is the largest sports medicine clinic in downtown Toronto. You’ll have a private corner office on the 11th floor when you see patients, as well as an examination room. We are linked to our local radiology provider, so you will have VPN real-time access to the films you order.

You will be paid a very competitive split, which is negotiable based on experience and training.

Osteopathy Manual Provider Wanted

Maternity Locum/Permanent Part-time

Enthusiastic Osteopathy manual provider wanted to join established multi-disciplinary Sports Medicine clinic located in downtown Toronto. This maternity locum/permanent part-time position will be available in July 2015. Warm, friendly work environment, full reception support, fully electronic medical records and 25 allied health professionals in house. Newly renovated 7,000 square-foot clinic space. You will be paid a competitive split, which is negotiable based on experience and training. New graduates welcome.

What Are We Looking For?

The successful applicant will have training in Osteopathy and will integrate cranio-sacral therapy, myofascial release, visceral manipulation and osteo-articular techniques as well as understanding how all these systems work together. The applicant must also be comfortable with treating a variety of conditions, including: acute injuries, stress induced health problems, chronic illness, etc.

The applicant must also; be a graduate of an osteopathic educational institution with a bona fide Ontario College and a certified DOMP
